Coming Back to Utah

I am coming back to Utah!! Don't get too excited though, it is just for the weekend. My friend, Hallie, is getting married this weekend. I will only be there for 2 days so that part is sad. Ben is not able to make it back with me. He is super busy with all of his classes. He also has a mid-term on Tuesday so he is gearing up for that as well. I am looking forward to seeing a couple friends and seeing my family, only if it is for 2 days. Don't worry though.... WE WILL BE BACK FOR CHRISTMAS!! We are really excited about getting to come back for Christmas this year. I think it has been 3 years since we were able to come home during the holidays. It is nice being the big boss at the bank. (getting to make your own schedule is priceless)

Hi Natalie,

You probably don't remember me but this is Carrie (Cook) from Murray. It's been, oh I don't know, a billion years! Blogging made this such a small, small world and I saw you on a friend of a friend of a friend's blog, it's crazy like that! Glad to see a familiar face that's doing great things with the cute husband of yours! Take good care!

Natalie,

Loved hearing from you on my blog. I agree with Carrie that blogging makes the world so much smaller and it's fun to "run into" people this way. It sounds like you and Ben are doing well in Spokane. Is this Ben's first year at Gonzaga? I went through the whole law school experience with my husband too. How's it going for you? I thought (like everyone says) that year 1 was the hardest, for sure - especially first semester - so I hope you're surviving. Say hello to Ben for me. Have a great day.

Carrie Cook!! Oh my goodness. So I can't view your profile. I wanna check out what is going on. Send me a link or something to your blog. It has been way too long and blogging is the best. I am totally addicted!!

Okay, okay...this is the 6th time today I've sat my big butt down to look at blogs...tad bit addicted here. Could your wedding pictures BE any prettier? I've always hated you for that! :) (Kidding!) It's been a long time but I'm glad you remember me I wondered about that! I forgot to leave you my site, I hate it when that happens. It's jc-pace.blogspot.com, I'm going to add you to mine now. I'm glad we can keep tabs!

Natalie,

Brian (my husband) went to the U's law school and graduated in 2005. I can totally relate to the hours and hours and hours of studying. I don't know how he did it. That first year is for sure the worst because it just determines so much and the curve makes it so crappy since you're in direct competition with your other classmates - but after that it did get easier. Finals were always awful, but the rest of it was more do-able because he figured out a system and knew how much studying he needed to do to get the grades he wanted. I'm sure Ben will do great - and I hope you survive too. :) Hang in there! You'll so appreciate your Christmas break when you get your husband back for a few weeks!
