SNOW, SNOW.... GO AWAY!

OK so I am having a very traumatic week so far. Since we have been spoiled for the last 3 years living in San Francisco area...... we have not had any snow. Well, I was watching TV on Sunday night and this big snow advisory came up about every 15 minutes warning us of the snow to come. Spokane was expecting 2-4 inches and Northern Idaho was expecting 6-10 inches. I instantly went into a depression. I can't have snow with the commute I have to work. I have to unpack my coats and actually wear them. I have not had a chance to get my snow tires. Well, my commute on Monday was not as bad as I thought. The roads were slick but I made it safely to work and I got to leave early because this nasty fog set in. I woke up this morning thinking that it was going to be a better day.... not so much the case. In Spokane things were cold but not snowing so I started my commute. I got about half way down to work and the snow started coming down. The only good news is that I get to leave early when it snows but my drive gets very stressful and I feel like I need a massage after stressing out for an hour. I know this is just the beginning so my Winter Depression continues......

OH NO NOT SNOW!!! I feel your pain you know how much I hate snow and winter in general. It is no fun unless you are skiing or snowboarding which I can do neither here. I'm sure it is harder for you having been out of the snow. This is why I love Ohio because it is november and still in the 50-60's. I know it is inevitable though sorry it's starting for you, and that crappy drive in such a small car BE CAREFUL. I'm glad they let you off early absolutely no night driving for you missy. Don't be depressed just curl up with Odie and watch a double featuwe and binge, it's a cure all!

Oh yeah and my plans for Thanksgiving? We are having 3 other couples over and we are going to cook dinner together and watch football. None of us have ever made a turkey and you know how good my cooking skills are. It should be interesting definitely pics to come of that on my blog!! What are your plans?

The funny thing about the weather here is that it was 60 degrees last week. We were only supposed to drop to mid-40s and have some rain until the big broadcast on Sunday night. You just wait for your winter ice storms. I don't envy you at all. :)

My mommy is coming out to visit. She is doing the cooking and she comes into town tonight and doesn't leave until Monday afternoon. She is such a good cook and I am excited to have a visitor. I will also be posting about that!! :)

Your MOMMY?? You're so funny, Natalie. I started laughing when I read that. I will miss you on Thanksgiving!! I'm sure Mom will make you guys a delicious dinner.... It'll be so good for her to get out there and have some fun with you. I hope you'll drive extra carefully.... I hate the snow on the roads. I get so nervous. I love you, so be safe!! :o)

I feel for you, I do. I hate snow. It's cold, it's a pain in my butt to drive in, it's freaking cold, and scraping it off the car is a chore, and it's just miserably cold! This is why I live where I live! :) Best wishes this winter, seriously!

P.S. The Hills note--I haven't seen last night's epidose yet, but according to the week before, I think it's time for Lauren to forgive! I mean, give me a break, she's acting like a baby. I don't think Heidi is all that awful, she's clueless, but not awful. What's your scoop?

I watched the episode last night on my computer at about 1:00 AM. I totally agree with you! Lauren is being a brat now and I am beginning to not be a fan anymore. Heidi is totally clueless but I think you will be proud of her in last night's episode. She kind of stuck up for herself. Hooray but Boo to "forgiving Heidi and fogetting her as well" I think that is the lamest line of reality TV EVER! I will have to do a seperate post coming up. Then we can all give our opinions again. That seemed to be my most popular post!! :)

I totally agree with the "massage" part. I get totally scared to drive in snow. Snow is good on Christmas, and that's it!!

I love snow, but only from December 1st through January 31st. Then I am done.

OMG! It's snow. Try living in Western WA and having rainy, gray days all winter.

Snow sucks! It's only good up in the mountains for snowboarding and tubing purposes. I feel your pain! :) My sexy cheetah heels were from Bakers courtesy of my sis. Cute huh? I ALWAYS get compliments on them. I love it!

Nat....I finally watched The Hills from last week. I actually did not HATE Spencer so much on that episode. Maybe I'm going crazy...?? He was actually trying to be nice, I thought. And that's a lot for me to say, 'cause I loathe him most of the time. Just had to let you know.... :o) BTW, I'm waiting to see some Thanksgiving pictures. I missed you that day, and I hope you guys had fun. Next year I think I want to have Lisa's family over, too. It's been a long time since our family had a Thanksgiving. They came to Matthew's b-day party and the kids just loved playing together. They were really cute.... You should have seen Jalen. He had a little cast on his arm. He's such a doll. Oh well, talk to you soon!! Love you!!

Poor Natalie!! Snow sucks! Winter coats are bad...flip flops are good.

Can you remind me when you are coming to Utah for Christmas? We need to make sure that we schedule time to hang out before we leave.

I think this is now your most popular post. You are such a lucky ducky to have your mom come and cook for you. I remember her yummy food we used to binge on she is a good cook!! As for the ice storms yeah not excited it was pouring and I meaning pouring like I have never seen before the other day but it wasn't cold enough to freeze over if it rains like that and then freezes we are in some serious trouble!! I've heard of people having inches of ice on their cars and not being able to get in needless to say I am not excited. As for the Hills....I don't want to talk about it, Lauren is pissing me off right now!
