OK so Ben is in the middle of taking his finals right now. He is spending so much time at the library that I think he might have to pay rent this month. He is working so hard and I hope that his hard work pays off at grade time. :) I am sure that it will. 3 down and 3 more to go!! Wish him luck..... Ben is lucky to have a dedicated study group that is getting together daily and staying ALL day long. It is always nice to be able to bounce ideas off of one another. I will be happy to have my husband back in a week.
My countdown has already begun for our Christmas trip home..... Only 2 weeks left. We are so happy and lucky to get to visit our families this year. It has been 3 years since our last Christmas with all of the fam. I guess I better get my Christmas shopping done. I am such a last minute shopper and it drives me crazy. Every year I promise that I will not get things done so last minute, but every year I am at the mall on Christmas Eve. :) I am hoping to get 90% of the shopping out of the way before we board the plane. Since all of our presents must fit in our suitcases.... Looks like Gift Cards for EVERYONE. ha ha

The library looks beautiful. (seriously!!) I'm sure Ben is going to ace all of his tests...and then he'll be able to relax and have a fabulous Christmas with all of us!! I can't wait!! Don't feel bad about the last minute shopping.... I'm a lot worse than you. I have four kids to buy for, and I am WAY behind. I have had the hardest time getting in the mood this year. Every year, I say I'll get it all done sooner, and every year I'm stressed at the end. Yikes.... I think Christmas Eve would be fun, by the way. (I'll have to double check with Jason though....but I think it'll be perfect.) Matthew usually goes with Shane for a while, but he'll be OK if he gets to do something with you guys later. :o) He's so bummed out he won't have any games while you're home. OK, this is a REALLY long comment....SORRY!! It was fun talking with you today about fun stuff....and THE HILLS. hee hee I can't wait until you're out here again!! Miss you lots and love you!!
Good job Benji!! I don't know how these boys are so motivated but when I see how much they study, glad it's not me! I'm jealous you get to go home for Christmas and I'm bummed we won't get to see you. I am the same way I haven't done an ounce of shopping yet, good luck with yours!! ON a side note can I just say yea for The Hills I hope Spencer really doesn't come back but.....I know that's just wishful thinking!
Oh sick. I so remember those 1st semester/1st year law school finals. They seem to last FOREVER and are absolutely treacherous. I'm sure all of Ben's hard work will pay off and I hope your Christmas break is absolutely delightful as you get to know each other again! :) Good luck to you both. The 28th it is. You are crazy for shopping so close to Christmas. I was 90% done before thanksgiving. I guess I am anti-social because I HATE crowds. We are so proud of Ben, man he works hard!
Just for the record, sixteen hours per day is not technically "all day." There is always more that we could be doing, and probably should!
What a pretty library! Yes I did have to think about your first post. Of course I got what you meant and I did get a good laugh out of it!
Don't worry, we are taking great care of Ben. It was nice to meet you when you brought Ben lunch. I must say, it did smell quite tasty!
